Betsie Valley 5K, 10K and Half Marathon

Friends of the Betsie Valley District Library with the support of Crystal Mountain Resort & Spa are pleased to announce the fifth annual Betsie Valley 5K, 10K and Half Marathon, Sunday, October 3, 2010.



Beautiful Benzie County will again showcase its unique wooded topography to participants of all ages and abilities. All events feature some of most spectacular scenery in the lower peninsular. The entire region is extending a heartfelt welcome—you won’t want to miss it!



Runners and walkers can choose to participate in a 5K (3.1 mile), 10K (6.2 mile) or half marathon (13.1 mile) distance, and children can get a workout in the family-friendly one mile event. Adult runs and walking events begin at 9 a.m. at Crystal Mountain Resort & Spa with the child’s event starting at 11:30 a.m. All proceeds go to support the Betsie Valley Library.
